Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bikapo and its operators ("Bikapo", "we", "us") collect, use, and share information when you use the Bikapo website, mobile apps, and related services.

Bikapo is a prediction market. You deposit money, buy an outcome, and withdraw payouts. Deposits and withdrawals use mobile money.

Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address and create a handle. If you complete a profile, we may store your display name, phone number, date of birth, bio, and avatar.

Activity. We store cash balances, deposits, withdrawals, trades, positions, market membership, comments, search activity, creator codes, and similar records needed to run markets, rankings, and the social feed.

Device and technical data. We store session cookies so you stay signed in, a device push token if you allow notifications, and basic logs such as request time and IP address used to keep the service secure.

Messages you send us. If you email support or request account deletion, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and complete the request.

We use information to create and secure your account, send sign-in codes, take deposits, pay withdrawals, operate markets and balances, show profiles and comments, send service and push notifications you have allowed, prevent abuse and market manipulation, fix errors, and comply with law.

We may send service messages about your account, security, markets, and policy updates. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Public profile fields such as your handle, display name, bio, and avatar, plus comments and public trading activity shown in the product, are visible to other users.

We share information with service providers that host the app, store data, deliver email, send push notifications, or help us search content. They may use the information only to provide those services to Bikapo.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect Bikapo or other users, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or similar business transfer.

You can update profile details in the app. You can turn off push notifications in your device settings.

You can ask us to delete your account at https://www.bikapo.com/delete-me. We email a one-time code to the address on the account. After you enter that code, we permanently delete the account within 7 business days.

We do not sell personal information. If a privacy law where you live gives you rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information, email operations@bikapo.com and we will respond as required by that law.

We keep account and activity information while your account is open and for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties. After you confirm a deletion request, we permanently delete the account within 7 business days, except for limited records the law requires us to keep.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Bikapo is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact operations@bikapo.com and we will delete it.

Bikapo is operated from Zambia. Our service providers may process information in other countries. By using Bikapo, you understand that your information may be processed outside the country where you live, with protections appropriate to the service.

Any changes will be released with your next app version. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the effective date. If you keep using Bikapo after the updated policy is posted, the updated policy applies.
